Bill has lived in the Bruce County area for 35 years having been in the construction industry for over 40 years. He has been a fully qualified building official for over 18 years with extensive experience in zoning and planning.

A licensed carpenter with a Diploma in Construction Engineering Technology.

He started his career in renovations and custom home building being mentored by some of the most experienced contractors. After apprenticing and obtaining his general carpenter's license, he returned to Conestoga College for a 3 year diploma program in construction. After graduation he worked with an engineering firm doing drawings for civil engineering projects. 

He also worked with the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation in the Parcel mapping and Land Registry section conducting title searching and producing maps that were legally accurate.

Shortly after, Bill entered the field of municipal building inspecting quickly progressing to Chief Building Official. Bill has also worked with private land developers and production housing as a project manager and contracts manager. 

Bill has had an ongoing business in architectural design putting his field knowledge to paper. If you are looking for a competent designer, he is the person to talk to.
